Action Against Heartburn is the campaign we support for raising awareness about oesophageal cancer.

Adenocarcinoma represets about 70% of the cases of oesophageal cancer in the UK, and this is strongly linked with Gastric Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD) and Barrett's Oesophagus, a condition where the cells of the oesophagus start to change and may then trun into cancer.
